Water Works ||
Four angled curtains of water droplets on nylon threads are suspended diagonally in rhomboid form stretching from ceiling to ground. The slow liquid descent transforms the space into a ‘minimalist grotto’.
‘We perceive water, many particles of it, but though it is so familiar a substance, the water here is made strange. Synthetic threads divert the flow slightly off axis, while the low pressure ”slowness” is a tease, an apparent delay of nature’s inevitable momentum.’
